I chose a few peak moments and memories to share.  (Truth is, it was fun to rummage through photos & memorabilia to scan for this!)

    

Eagle Scout at age 13.
High school nickname: "Haystacks".
Captain of high school swim team.
Rowed 1st boat on Cornell's freshman crew team.
BS EE at Cornell University.
Met and later married the girl across the hall, Jennifer Howell.
First started working at Hewlett-Packard in 1973.
MBA at New York University.
Started Direct Coffee Division  -  this company targeted gourmet decaffeinated coffees at the over 55 market with high discretionary income.  (Starbucks was just starting up back then, and nobody had ever heard of a "double tall latte".)
Started Van Ness & Howell  - a real estate limited partnership specializing in buying, restoring, and renting Victorian homes.
Until recently, I took piano lessons and regularly held old-fashioned parlor recitals at my home.
Musicals I've been in: Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, Trial by Jury, Gondoliers, Kiss Me Kate, Little Mary Sunshine, The King & I.
Volcanos I've climbed: Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Granite Peak.
